Shrapnel

Este juego de dados para dos jugadores está diseñado para jugar con elementos sencillos que hay en la mayoría de las casas (tres dados, dos bolígrafos) y se trata de un juego abstracto de pequeñas decisiones que pueden traer grandes consecuencias. Los dos jugadores lanzan dados en grupos de tres y deben elegir, o bien coger uno de los tres dados, o bien coger la suma de hasta dos dados. Pero hay que tener cuidado con la decisión, pues el rival obtendrá lo que le dejes, un dado o la suma de dos, por lo que el beneficio propio puede ser menor que el del rival.

Al final de la partida, los jugadores anotarán los puntos que se obtienen por secuencias que aparecen al otro lado de la tarjeta. Las secuencias más difíciles otorgan más puntos, pero si no se completan, el total de puntos por esas secuencias será de cero.  Existen también dos bonos adicionales para quien tenga más 1s o menos 12s, pero hay que tener al menos uno para poder optar a los bonos.

This two-player dice game is designed to be played with simple items found in most homes (three dice, two pens) and is an abstract game of small decisions that can have big consequences. The two players roll dice in groups of three and must choose either to take one of the three dice, or to take the sum of up to two dice. But you have to be careful with the decision, because the opponent will get whatever you let him, one die or the sum of two, so that your own benefit may be less than that of the opponent.

At the end of the game, players will score the points obtained by sequences that appear on the other side of the card. More difficult sequences award more points, but if they are not completed, the total points for those sequences will be zero.  There are also two additional bonuses for those who have more 1s or less 12s, but you must have at least one to qualify for the bonuses.
